Check Your name in the Election Commission Voters list 

Election plays a major role in the democratic countries like India. It gives the power to the people to elect their representatives to Parliament/ State Legislature/ Panchayats/ Municipalities. It is the right of every citizen to enroll himself/herself in the Election commission's Voters List and to Cast Vote.

Now almost most of the Enrolling process is available in online. The voters need not waste their time by going to government offices for getting the Election Commission Voter Enrollment Form. We have also posted an article about how to Enroll in ECI Voters list Via online.

If you have already enrolled in the Voters List now you can Check/Search the Details Via Online itself. Just follow the Simple Procedure.

We would like to explain it in an Engineer's Way.

Aim:

To Check Whether My name and Election Commission of India ECI Identity card is in the Voters List. Also to check for any errors.

Materials required:

• Internet accessible Devices Like Mobile/PC/Laptop
• Internet Connection

Procedure:

Step 1: Open Your browser and Enter the Election Commission Of India's Website 

www.eci.nic.in

Step 2:  Select the Check Your name in the Election Commission Voters list Option as below

Step 3: A new TAB/Window will open with the website links to all state Election commissions. In Our case we have selected "Tamil Nadu".

Step 4: Four Options will be displayed as below

Search your name with EPIC number
Search Electoral Rolls in Tamil
View Electoral Rolls in Tamil - PDF format
View Electoral Rolls in English (only for Chennai ACs) - PDF format

 As per your Convenience you can select any one of the options. In our case we have selected the "Search your name with EPIC number" Option.

Step 5:  Enter your Voter Indentity Card's number and Select "சமர்பிக்க" Option

Step 6: Your Name, Address, Constituency name and other Details will be Displayed

Output: 

Verified No Errors Found

Results: 

Thus the Name in the Voters list is searched via and Checked
