What is First Graduate Tuition Fee Exemption?

Let us see first about the "Tuition Fee". Normally all private colleges affiliated to anna university collects Fees from the Students, that we all know. Fees will be collected under various names like Transport fees, Hostel Fees, Mess Fees, Tuition Fees, Etc.,. Except the Tuition Fees all the other fees varies for all colleges those are fixed by the respective college managements. But the "Tuition Fees" is fixed by the Government which will be usually based on the accreditation of the particular college and course. This Tuition fees will be common to all colleges in Tamil Nadu (Affiliated to Anna University).

First Graduate Tuition Fee Exemption - It can availed by a students who is the first graduate of the family.

Who are eligible First Graduate Tuition Fee Exemption ?
In Anna University Website it is clearly published as follows 
"Tamil Nadu native candidates who are to be first graduate in a family, those who are attending counselling and joined in professional courses in Government / Aided and Self-Financing Engineering Colleges alone are eligible. (If the applicant’s brother or sister has already availed First Graduate Tuition Fee concession for studying Professional Courses, then the applicant is not eligible for such concession)"
